So, what exactly is a cocktail? In simple terms, it’s any alcoholic mixed drink made by combining any kind of spirits with water, fruit juice, sugar and bitters. However, for me, a cocktail is about the creativity, the flavour, and the experience of enjoying something crafted.

At the Distillery, our cocktail menu is always evolving. We adapt and change our range of cocktails and spritzers to match the seasons. We always make sure there’s something fresh and exciting to try. And with tonnes of cocktails made using our own Cuckoo spirits, there really is something for everyone.

Within the Distillery’s drinks menu, you’ll find classic favourites like the Passion Martini, Mojito, Espresso Martini and Sunshine Negroni. Our spritz range including the Supernova, Limoncello, Sunshine, and Hugo Elderflower is also a huge hit. Our best seller? The Limoncello Spritz: a perfect balance of bitter and sweet, refreshing all year round. Other fan favourites include the Sunshine Spritz, Sundowner Mojito and Supernova Spritz. Personally, I’m a big fan of the Raspberry Sundowner Mojito, especially with our own ‘Cuckoo’ twist that makes it feel extra refreshing.

One of the highlights for me is hosting our Cuckoo Cocktail Masterclass. It features three cocktails made using our range of Cuckoo spirits – crafted by you, with a little help along the way. You get to enjoy your creations while learning cocktail tips and fun facts. We change up the cocktails quarterly to keep things fresh. This also means that our customers can keep coming back to learn even more recipes. Hosting these events is always a laugh. It’s common for guests to get a bit tipsy by the end of the night, and I always remind them: “I’m here to guide you, but you’re the ones pouring the alcohol, so if you leave a little bit merry, I’m not to blame!”.
