This vibrant rhubarb gin delivers a beautifully balanced serve, best enjoyed with a premium Indian tonic and plenty of ice. The result is a crisp, refreshing drink where bright, tangy rhubarb takes centre stage, softened by subtle vanilla sweetness and lifted by delicate floral spice. A naturally flavoured gin that’s fresh, moreish, and perfectly suited for summer sipping.

Nose

Bright, vibrant rhubarb leads the way, lifted by soft hints of vanilla, reminiscent of the classic boiled sweets from childhood.

Palate

Unmistakably gin-forward and true to Cuckoo’s quality, with an immediate burst of tangy rhubarb. This is balanced by delicate floral notes from pink peppercorn and a refreshing lift of thirst-quenching coriander seed.

Finish

Clean, crisp and moreish, leaving a lingering rhubarb character without the cloying sweetness often found elsewhere—inviting you straight back for another sip.

Distiller Notes

This one has been a long time in the making. We have certainly taken our time. Extracting flavour from a vegetable like Rhubarb is very different to a Citrus fruit. We have built up the flavour profile using different methods of distillation and blending. The addition of Pink Peppercorn and plenty of Coriander has helped keep it fresh and really thirst quenching.

Coriander

Coriander has a distinctive taste, combining citrusy and slightly floral flavours with a hint of warmth and spice.

Vanilla

Vanilla offers a sweet and creamy taste with warm, floral, and slightly caramel-like notes.

Rhubarb

Bright pink forced rhubarb delivers a beautifully balanced flavour, combining gentle sweetness with fresh, crisp acidity.
